Based on the traditional Chinese Lunar calendar and following a 60-, 10- or 1-day cycle you determine open acupuncture points at a particular time.

An additional calculation establishes a correlation between "birth hexagram" and potent acupuncture points. The I Ching texts provide further insight into the calculated hexagrams.

As an extra you may use the I Ching oracle if you seek advice.

The 60-day cycle (ling gui ba fa) establishes open acupuncture points (those on the extraordinary meridians) based on the heavenly stem/earthly branch constellation at a certain day and double hour.

The 10-day cycle follows the rule of yang-forward and yin-backwards based on the day’s Heavenly stem and the Earthly branches' sequence (organ clock/double hour)

The daily cycle follows the rule of the ancient acupoints with an either stimulating or sedating effect.

If location services have been activated the app automatically chooses your current local time. Calculations for locations other than your current need a network connection. If neither location services nor a data/network connection are available the app uses your device's system time.

With the calendar action-button you can open a new page showing future dates of the 60-day cycle and open points of the extraordinary meridians. The starting date ist the date of the previous page/tab.

These informations can be useful in the case of trauma treatment.

Based on the Chinese Lunar Calendar from 1910 – 2043 constellations are calculated by year, month, day and hour, referring to either a lunar or a solar year.
The varying constellations are shown in different colors and diction.
If location services have been activated the app automatically chooses your current local time. Calculations for locations other than your current need a network connection. If neither location services nor data/network connection is available the app uses your device's system time.

Behind the table headlines of the four pillars are further information in relation to calendar data available (year = Dragon and Dog month, month = relations of the earthly branches, day = stored and hidden heavenly stems, hour = organ clock)

Each constellation within the heavenly stem/earthly branches' 60-day cycle is associated with one of the 64 hexagrams and each hexagram with 4 highly potent acupoints.

Calculations of a constellation on either the day of birth or any other date are based on the traditional Chinese Lunar Calendar. The first acupoint listed is calculated by the heavenly stem (element of the antique point) and the earthly branch (meridian) of the constellation of the day.

Available are: date and time buttons, alternatively manual entry of a birth date.
In addition to identifying acupoints one may consult the I Ching trigram and hexagram descriptions. The time of birth determines the line of the hexagram with a particular focus.

If location services have been activated the app automatically chooses your current local time. Calculations for locations other than your current need a network connection. If neither location services nor data/network connection are available the app uses your device’s system time.

Seeking advice? Do not expect an exact answer after having thrown the coins. However, the appearing hexagram and the I Ching interpretations might give you an idea to start with.

The interchanging hexagram displays the current situation first and after clicking the "change" button the future situation will appear.
